Hazel Wickham

Hazel M. Vukich Wickham, 70, of Aleppo Twp. Greene Co. Pa. died unexpectedly at 5:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2010 her home.She was born September 19, 1939 in New Brighton, Pa. a daughter of the late Michel Bladimar and Mabel Lillian Dixon Vukich, and raised by her mother and late step-father, Frank H. Measic, Sr.Mrs. Wickham had resided in the Waynesburg and Deep Valley areas prior to moving to Aleppo Twp. in 1985.She enjoyed camping, making afghans and her neighbors.Mrs. Wickham was a former bus driver in the Canon-McMillan School District and was last employed as a bus driver for Grim Buses in the West Greene School District prior to retiring with over 30 years of driving experience.She was a member of the New Freeport V.F.D. Auxiliary and served as the Aleppo Twp. Auditor for several years.Mrs. Wickham was first married to the late Albert Kenneth Rombold, and on June 13, 1969 she married Arnold Walter Wickham who died October 29, 1995.Surviving are three sons, Kenneth (Butch), husband of Kathleen Rombold of New Brighton, Arnold, husband of Tina Wickham and Travis Wickham, companion of Shyla McCready all of Aleppo Twp.; a daughter, Tina Rombold Lytle of Arkansas; 17 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kelly Wickham of Deep Valley; a brother, Frank H. Measic, Jr., husband of Georgie Measic of New Galilee; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Penny Ross of Aleppo Twp. and Patty McClelland of Waynesburg.Deceased in addition to her parents and step-father are a sister, Frances Rozich; two brothers, William and John Vukich.
