Harry R. Carroll

Harry R. Carroll, age, 74, of West Finley, PA., passed away at home surrounded by his family on Friday, September 30, 2016.

Born April 28, 1942, in Wind Ridge, PA, he is the son of the late James Dennis and Orpha (Allum) Carroll.

Harry resided in Richhill Twp., his entire life. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Harry was a beef cattle farmer. He was an avid outdoorsmen who enjoyed going deer hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marilyn K. Carroll, of West Finley; four children, Leighann (Kenneth) Richmond, of Cameron, WV., James (Teresa) Carroll, of Wind Ridge, PA., Brad (Terri Hice) Carroll, of Graysville, PA, and Brent (Angela Householder) Carroll, of Wind Ridge, PA.; his sister, Sarah Clutter; half-brother, Ben Staggers; step-sisters, Mary, Kiger and Carol Ann Dye; his seven grandchildren, Chad, Crystal, Carrie, Jesse, Bailey, Brilee and Bexley; two great-grandchildren, Abigal and Alayna; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, James Dennis Carroll, Jean Minton, Joann Hamilton and Michael Staggers; step-sister, Brenda Finnegan; step-brother, Dale Staggers.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC., 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy., Rogersville, PA, 15359.(724) 499-5181. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. James Jarvis, officiating. Interment will follow in West Finley Cemetery.
