Grace Miller

Grace E. Miller, 85, of Morris Twp., Greene Co., Pa. died at 10:12 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2010 in the Washington Hospital after a courageous battle with a cancer related illness.She was born March 25, 1925 in Wayne Twp. (Kuhntown), Greene Co. Pa. a daughter of the late Archie Stanley and Osa Mae Stewart Moore and had been a resident of Greene Co. all her life.Mrs. Miller formerly attended the Union Valley United Methodist Church.She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and baking as long as her health permitted.Mrs. Miller was a 1944 graduate of Waynesburg High School and had attended Waynesburg (College) University.She was married to the late George Ewing Miller who died March 11, 1987.Surviving is her companion of the past 20 years, Phillip S. Prevost; a step-son, William, husband of Linda Miller of Pine Bank; a step-daughter, Hester Cain of Waynesburg; a sister, Myrtle L. Moore of Graysville; several step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are a step son, John Perry Miller; a brother, C. Stanley Moore and a sister who died in infancy.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to your local American Cancer Society.
