Ginny Swart Peters

Wilda Virginia Ginny Swart Peters, 70, of Winter Haven, Fl., and formerly of Washington, Pa. died peacefully, Saturday, July 18, 2015 in the Good Sheppard Hospice of Lakeland, Fl. after battling a cancer related illness for the past 11 years, with her family by her side.
She was born May 28, 1945 in Washington a daughter of the late Howard and Silvie Olive Clutter Swart and was a 1963 graduate of Washington High School.
Mrs. Peters was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lake Alfred, Fl.
On January 12, 1966 she married Harold Jay Peters who died March 16, 2015.
Surviving are a daughter, Kalen, wife of Vetress (Vee) Bumbalough and a son, David Wayne, husband of Andrea Zeitler Peters, all of Winter Haven; two step-sons, Harold J. (Butch) Peters, Jr., husband of Loni Feather Peters of Knoxville, Tn. and Dale Peters of Winter Haven; 8 grandchildren; a brother, Wayne C. Swart of North Strabane Twp.; a brother-in-law, George, husband of Sue Ellen Peters of Mt. Lebanon; two nephews, Chris and Jeff Peters; a niece, Sandy Peters Muthersbaugh and a special niece Tracy Swart Fultz of Peters Twp.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held at the Enon Baptist Church at a later date and time to be announced. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
