Georgia Welling

JODI WELLINGGeorgia F. "Jodi" Welling, 57, formerly of Washington and Aleppo, Pa. died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 25, 2006 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, Pa. after a debilitating illness for the past nine years.She was born February 15, 1949 in Marion, Ohio a daughter of the late LaFaun Sheik Alkire and Fay Leroy Alkire of Crestline, Ohio and had resided in Washington County for several years prior to moving to Aleppo. Mrs. Welling was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in East View and she attended McGuffey High School. She was an employee of the former Mac Plastics in Washington and the former Cannon Plastics in Houston, Pa. and was last employed by the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in the housekeeping department.On November 14, 1970 she married Paul Edwin Welling who died December 8, 1997.Surviving are two daughters, Taishea Courtwright of Wind Ridge, Pa. and Paulie, wife of Michael Hull of Washington; one son, Rodney Welling of Canonsburg, Pa.; eight grandchildren, Seth, Derrik, Morgan and Isaac Courtwright, Elijah Welling, Michaela and Isabella Hull and Matthew Dobbs; eight sisters, Kaye, Carol, Helen, Jill, Noni, and Faith all of Ohio and Jenny and Connie both of Texas; three brothers, Billy Dean, Eddie Gene and Mark all of Ohio; several nieces and nephewsDeceased in addition to her husband and mother is one sister, Cherlyn Titus.
