G. Gaylord Miller, 92, of Claysville, Pa. died at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007 in his home after being in failing health for the past six months.He was born May 24, 1915 in Donegal Twp., Washington County, Pa. a son of George Cleveland and Anna Florence Edgar Miller and had resided in the West Finley area prior to moving to Blaine Twp. in 1946.Mr. Miller was a 1934 graduate of West Alexander High School and a member of Claysville Christian Church and has served as an elder since 1958.He was an employee of the former Coen Oil Company in Washington and was employed as a school bus driver, with Alfred Kerr and Bob Verner for 25 years prior to retiring in 1986 and had been a self-employed farmer in Blaine Twp. since 1946.Mr. Miller was an avid fisherman and square dancer as long as his health permitted.He was first married to the late Anna Irene Wood who died in 1962 and on September 19, 1963, he married Martha May Britt Miller who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Donald L., husband of Jill Miller of Claysville and Raymond L., husband of Lynne Miller of Washington; two step-children, Robert Alvin, husband of Jana Roberts of Claysville and Lois Jean, wife of Clarence Davis of Pleasant Grove; several foster children, including Linda, wife of James Davis, Ruth, wife of Ike Davis of Pleasant Grove and Richard Bell of Claysville; one sister, Mildred Moore of San Antonio, Tx; four grandsons, Donald R., Daniel J., Ean P. and Andrew R. Miller; two granddaughters, Laurel and Emilie M. Miller; four step grandchildren, Marshall A. Roberts, Beth Ann Shriver, Brian and Bradley Davis; five great grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren; four foster grandchildren, Susie, Hank, Eddie, and Jimmy Davis.
