Francis Galloway

Francis B. (Mike) Galloway, 89, of Waynesburg, Pa., and formerly of Center Twp., died at 5:30 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 in his home after being in failing health for the past six months.He was born September 6, 1923 in Waynesburg, Pa. a son of the late Thomas and Mary J. Anderson Galloway and had resided in the Greene County area all his life.Mr. Galloway was a member of the Harmony United Presbyterian Church in Wind Ridge, Pa.He enjoyed collecting watches and story telling.On February 18, 1984 he married Patricia Ann Keller who survives.Also surviving are eight children, William Galloway of Clearwater, Fl., Terry Galloway of Washington, John Lavigne and William, husband of Susie Babcock both of Waynesburg, Christine, wife of Dave Keller of Harrisburg, Penny Moon of Portland, Me., Gail, wife of Mark King and Judy Babcock, both of Waynesburg; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.Deceased in addition to his parents are a granddaughter, Brenda Patterson Durbin; three brothers, James, Julian (Jock) and Warren Galloway; two sisters, Pearl McDonald and Virginia Myers.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home in memory of Mr. Galloway.
