Floyd W. Milliken, 77, of Dallas, W.Va. died unexpectedly Friday, March 16, 2007 in his home.Mr. Milliken was born August 2, 1929 in Dallas, West Virginia a son of William McKinley and Inez West Frye. He was adopted and raised from the age of 18 months by the late Charles R. and Ottie L. Parson Milliken and resided in Dallas, W.Va. all of his life. He was a veteran of the Korean War where he served as a CPL in the U.S. Army with the Hq Sec, 2118th ASU. He was a 46 year member of the West Alexander Legion Post 656.Mr. Milliken enjoyed farming and time spent outdoors.He was a Master Neon craftsmen with Ohio Valley Outdoor Advertising in Wheeling, W.Va. from 1952 to 1962 and 1962 to 1975 was the General Manager of Wheeling Neon and at his death was the owner and operator of A.R.D. Neon in Lansing, Oh. which he established in 1975 out of his home.On May 27, 1962 he married S. Jane Wood Milliken who survives.Also surviving are a daughter, Donna, wife of Dwight Wolfe of Kearneysville, W.Va.; two sons, Charles Milliken and his finance, Joanne Hull of Benwood, W.Va. and Robert, husband of April Milliken of Dallas, W.Va.; three sisters, Helen, wife of Foster Riggle of Claysville, Pa., Mildred, wife of Cecil Miller of Washington and Lois Louise, wife of Curtis Pennington of Ocala, Fl; seven grandchildren, Halona, wife of J.P. Young-Wolfe, Colleen Wolfe, finance of John Gilmore, Zachery Alderman, Megan M. Milliken, wife of Aaron Alderman and Raelynn D., Jody L. and Kimberly S. Milliken; two great grandchildren, Nakita Milliken and William Alexander Gilmore; an ex-daughter in law, Pamela Faulner Milliken of Valley Grove, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews.Deceased are a daughter, Mildred Lee Milliken; one great grandchild, Lexia Fae Wolfe-Garcia; three brothers, Harry, Okey and Cecil "Red" Milliken; four sisters, twins, Wilda Jean and Wilma Jane Milliken who died in infancy and twins, Florence Duncan and Florene Craig ' a step-mother, Cleora Harris Frye.
