Eunice Bennett

Eunice J. Bennett, 74, of Washington, Pa. and formerly of Montour, N.Y., died at 9:25 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2011 in Humber Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (Washington) after being in failing health for the past several years.She was born September 24, 1937 in Corning, N.Y. a daughter of the late Henry Harold and Mary Veronica Nares Quigley and had been a resident of Washington, Pa. since 2008.Mrs. Bennett was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Midway, Pa. and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Horsehead, N.Y. at the time of her death.She enjoyed playing bingo and picture puzzles as long as her health permitted.On October 26, 1956 she married Pastor Clayton Ivan Bennett who died December 9, 2007.Surviving are two daughters, Belinda, wife of Randy Workman of West Finley, Pa. and Darlene, wife of Jeff Ealy of Claysville, Pa.; four grandchildren, Heather Ealy Sheatler, Jeffrey Ealy, Jr., Beth Workman Milvet and Jill Workman; two great grandchildren, Wyatt and Gavin Sheatler; three brothers, Fred Quigley of Charlotte, N. Carolina, Paul Quigley of Trenton, IL. and Henry "Hank" Quigley of Gary, IN.; three sisters, Nancy, wife of Steve Dahlgren and Norma Quigley both of Darien, IL. and Peggy Quigley of San Diego, CA.; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are four brothers, Herbert (twin to Henry), Gary, John and Thomas Quigley.
