Obituary for Ervin McGraw

Ervin "Dewey" McGraw, 66, of Carmichaels, Pa. died at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in the UPMC Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. after being seriously ill since October.He was born December 27, 1944 in Clarksburg, W.Va. a son of the late Clyde Wesley and Celie Jaggie McGraw.Mr. McGraw had resided in Waynesburg for over 20 years prior to moving to the Carmichaels area in 2007.He was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served with the U.S. Army as a specialist 5th class with HQ Co. USATC.Mr. McGraw was a former employee of Woods Cabinetry in Eight Four, Pa. and was last employed as a security guard with Allied Security of Bentleyville, Pa.Mr. McGraw enjoyed detailing automobiles and the time he spent with his family, grandchildren, great grandchilden and was extremely greatful to be able to assist his wife during her illness.Surviving is his companion of the past 35 years, Loretta Kay Wilson; two sons, Richard Wilson of Waynesburg and Brian, husband of Selina McGraw of Carmichaels; three daughters, Alicia McGraw and Crystal Wilson both of Carmichaels and Melissa, wife of Sonny DeBerry of Shinnston, W.Va.; a sister, Alice, wife of James Merritt of Haywood, W.Va.; fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
