Edna I. Lohr, 86, of Waynesburg, Pa. died at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2011 in the Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg after being ill for the past two months.She was born March 6, 1925 in Graysville, Pa. a daughter of the late Harry Cleveland and Grace Phillips Hewitt.Mrs. Lohr had resided in the Rogersville, Wind Ridge and Holbrook areas for several years prior to moving to Waynesburg in 1978.She was a member of the John Corbly Baptist Church at Garards Fort.Mrs. Lohr enjoyed the time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren, doing word search puzzles, reading, playing cards Wii bowling, attending auctions and her church.On October 29, 1942 she married Walter Eugene Lohr who died February 2, 1989.Surviving are three daughters, Karen Howard of Garards Fort, Mary J., wife of Roger Cunningham of Cameron, W.Va. and Leslie Lohr, companion of Rodney Browning of Somerset, Pa.; four sons, Walter A., husband of Cheryl Lohr, Lenny E., husband of Patty Lohr, Ronald L., husband of Daunice Lohr, and Gary L., husband of Carolyn Lohr all of Waynesburg; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are two grandsons, Michael Allan Lohr and John Scott Howard; a son in law, John H. Howard; five brothers, Samuel, Paul, Boyd and her triplet brothers, Edwin and Edward Hewitt; six sisters, Lee Ellen Kennedy, Olive Rush Webb, Ruth Luther Faltz, Helen Cumpston, Mary Grim and Doris Frances Hurney.Mrs. Lohr was the last of her immediate family.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the John Corbly Baptist Church, Garards Fort, Pa. 15334.
