Dorris Moore

Doris Jean Gray Moore, 69, of Aleppo (Springhill Twp.),Pa. died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in her home after battling a cancer related illness since July.She was born July 5, 1944, in Powhaten Point, Ohio, a daughter of the late Worley and Irene Pauline Gray.Mrs. Moore had resided in the Scenery Hill area most of her married life prior to moving to Springhill Twp. in early 2000's.She enjoyed fishing, gardening and helping to raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren.On May 5, 1964 she married Charles Wendell Moore who died January 14, 2008.Surviving are two daughters, Katherine Irene Forsythe of Grafton, W.Va. and Glenna Sue Lucy of Springhill Twp. with whom she shared a home; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond, Edward and Robert Gray; two sisters, Pearl Edgar and Mary Herrod; several nieces and nephews.
