Donald Knight

Donald E. Knight, 84, of Holbrook (Bluff), R.D.#1, Pa. died unexpectedly at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007 in his home. He was born June 8, 1922 in Waynesburg, Pa. a son of Albert R. Knight and Jettie Kilgore Knight Lewis and had resided in Mansfield Ohio prior to returning his home property in Bluff in 1982.Mr. Knight was a 1941 graduate of Waynesburg High School and was a member at the former Mt. Zion United Methodist Church at Bluff.He was a 32nd degree Mason of Mansfield (Oh.) F. A.M. Lodge #35 and a member of the Columbus Valley York and Scottish Rite Bodies. He was a member of B.P.O.E. of Waynesburg and A.A.R.P. and was a member and the Executive Vice President of the former Eagle 1 Aviation of Waynesburg and, has been a member and Executive Vice President of the Greene County Cubs since 2005.Mr. Knight was an electrician with Westinghouse in Mansfield Ohio for 42 years prior to retiring in 1982.Surviving are his two sons, Jeffrey L. husband of Karen Knight of Columbus, Oh. and Scott, husband of Catherine Knight of Dublin, Oh.; three daughters, Deanna, wife of Stu Davis of Imlay City, Michigan and twin daughters, Sabrina, wife of Mike Henley of Clarksville, Tn. and Kimberly, wife of Richard Portugal of Yuba City, Ca.; one step daughter, Cricket, wife of Gary Kraus of Holbrook, Pa.; twelve grandchildren; two step granddaughters; three great grandchildren; and close family friend, John Lovingood.Deceased are his companion of fourteen years, Clysta M. Rohland who died on August 18, 1999; three brothers, John, Herbert and Lawrence Knight.He was the last of his immediate family.
