Dell West

Dell West, 93, of Rogersville, Pa. died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2004 in the Beverly Health Care Center, Waynesburg, Pa. after being in failing health for the past several years.She was born January 23, 1911 in Jackson Township, Greene County, Pa. a daughter of John Morgan and Hettie Marie McDonald McCloud.Mrs. West had resided in Ft. Wayne, IN. for 11 years returning to Greene County in 1940.She had been a member of the Bates Fork Baptist Church since 1978.Mrs. West enjoyed visiting and traveling with her friends as long as her health permitted.She was married to Hallie Ernest West who died November 30, 1976.Surviving are two daughters, Betty Jean Inghram of Rogersville, Pa. and Shirley June West of Glen Burnie, MD; three step sons, Paul E. West of Minneapolis, MN., Ronald J. West of Montverde, Fl. and Harold C. West of Lorain, Ohio; seven grandsons; several great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; four step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to her husband are three sisters, Edna Latone, Leanna (Peg) Berry and Louisa Morris; three brothers, Don McCloud who died in infancy, W. Scott McCloud and Rudolph E. McCloud; a step daughter, Leanna West Udodow; one half sister, Marion Rush; one half brother, Clyde McCloud.Mrs. West was the last of her immediate family.
