Clarice A. "Todd" Main

Clarice A. Todd Main, 86, of Rogersville, Pa. died at 9:10 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2015 in her home with her family present.

She was born November 6, 1928 in Center Twp., (Bluff), Greene County, Pa. a daughter of the late Albert Guy and Velma Stockdale Kughn and had resided in the Center Twp. area all her life prior to moving to Rogersville in 2000.

Mrs. Main was a member of the former Mt. Zion United Methodist Church at Bluff where she joined the Womens Society of Christian Service (United Methodist Women) and was a member of the Rogersville United Methodist Church at the time of her death.

She was a member of the former Harveys Grange #1444 (Aleppo-Harveys Grange) and the Center Twp. V.F.D. Auxiliary.

Mrs. Main enjoyed her time with family and grandchildren, reading, sewing and ceramics.

On May 18, 1946 she married Joseph Monegar Main who died February 17, 1999.

Surviving are two daughters, Terry, wife of Charles Jones of Rogersville and Cathy Eddy of Center Twp.; four sons, Joseph A. Judd, husband of Karen Main of Spotsylvania, Va., Lee, husband of Sandy Main of Blacksville, W.Va., Mark, husband of Lisa Main and Michael, husband of Tina Main, both of Center Twp.; 13 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are a granddaughter, Jennifer Main; a great granddaughter, Morgan Blevins; two sisters, Cora Ellen Kidwell and Margaret Jones; a brother, Kenneth Eugene Pete Kughn.

She was the last of her immediate family.

Friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa. where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 with her son Michael Main officiating and Pastor Cynthia Deter assisting. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Rogersville United Methodist Church, PO Box 315, Rogersville, Pa. 15359 or the Washington City Mission, 84 West Wheeling St., Washington, Pa., 15301.
