Charles L. Anthony

Charles L. Anthony, age 91, of Waynesburg, PA, formerly of Rogersville, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at Waynesburg Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born September 6, 1927, in Preston, OK, he is the son of the late John Anthony and Mary Christie (Kimble) Booth.

Charles was a resident of Greene County since 1928. He attended the Rogersville Christian Church. Charles was employed as a Laborer at Greene County Farms. He enjoyed painting houses, gardening and helping others any way he could. Charles loved spending time with his friends while listening to music, collecting toy cars and his snacks.
He is survived by his friend, Sylvia McClure, of Waynesburg.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM in Rosemont Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the U.S. Army and Waynesburg V.F.W. Post #4793.
