Carl Mankey

Carl W. "Bill" Mankey, 64, of Nineveh Pa., died at 8:25 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2005 at his residence where he had live for 53 years after being in failing health since June 2004. He was born March 3, 1941 in Waynesburg, Pa. a son of the late Waldo Alvin and Helen Elizabeth Thomas Mankey. Mr. Mankey was a member of the Nineveh United Methodist Church where he had served as an usher and church greeter most of his life. He attended Nineveh schools and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He owned an extensive baseball cap and key chain collection.Surviving are one sister, Jean D. Cipoletti Hull of Graysville, R.D. #1; three nephews, Michael Cipoletti of Amity, Pa., Chris Cipoletti of Graysville, R.D. #1 and David Cipoletti with whom he had shared his home since 2003; one niece, Lauren Hull of Baltimore, Md.; three great nephews, Christian, Kirkland and Giovanni Cipoletti. Deceased in addition to his parents is a niece, Beth Lynne Cipoletti.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Albert Gallatin Home Care and Hospice, 20 Highland Park Dr., Suite 203, Uniontown, Pa. 15401 or to the Nineveh United Methodist Church.
