Brenda Kay May, 60, of Waynesburg, Pa. died unexpectedly at 1:14 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in the Washington Health System-Greene in Waynesburg.
She was born October 19, 1955 in Washington, Pa. a daughter of Olive Blanche Jackson Morgan of Claysville, Pa. and the late Thomas Anthony Morgan, Sr., and had resided in the Waynesburg area since 1995.
Mrs. May was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church in Waynesburg, and attended McGuffey High School.
She was also a member of the Waynesburg American Legion Post 330 Auxiliary, and a life member of the D.A.V. Post 123 Auxiliary in Waynesburg.
Mrs. May enjoyed crocheting, cross stitch, painting, cooking and baking.
She was a seasonal employee of H R Block tax preparation service for the past 25 years.
On August 1, 1992 she married R. Stanley May who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Crystal, wife of Willie Wheeler and Wendy, wife of Andy Geray, both of Houston, and Tammy, wife of Eric Bedillion of Claysville; eight grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; four sisters, Linda, wife of Jim Horner of Washington, Sandy, wife of Oliver Sprowls, Jr. and Kate, wife of Tim Sprowls, both of Claysville and Mary Puney, wife of Richard Shellogg of Washington; three brothers, Thomas A. Morgan, Jr. and Richard Doobie Morgan, companion of Kim Scott, both of Claysville, and Randy, husband of Charlotte Morgan of Taylorstown; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her father is a brother, Michael Morgan.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa. where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2015 with Pastor Arnold Watts officiating. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp.
