Brenda E. Patterson Wright Durbin, 33, of Waynesburg, Pa. died at 3:10 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2005 in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.She was born October 4, 1971 in Waynesburg a daughter of Kristine Galloway Patterson Rogers of Waynesburg and was raised by her stepfather, the late James Willard Rogers who died August 24, 2002 and had resided in Waynesburg all her life.Mrs. Durbin was a 1989 graduate of West Greene High School and graduated in 1994 from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in criminal justice.She was a social member and part time employee of the V.F.W. Post 4793, a social member of the American Legion Post 330, and a member of the Ladies of the Moose all in Waynesburg.Mrs. Durbin was a former employee of Community Action in Waynesburg and the Children and Youth Services in Washington and has been employed for approximately five years by the Department of Public Assistance in Waynesburg as a caseworker.She enjoyed the time spent with her family, friends and was an avid karaoke participant.On May 8, 2004 she married William Henry Durbin who survives.Also surviving in addition to her husband and mother, are a daughter, Tonysha Wright at home; a step daughter, Cheyanne Durbin of Prosperity; two sisters, Sherry, wife of Mike Bennett of Washington and Mitzie, wife of Josh Blake of Moundsville, W.Va.; two brothers, William Edward Patterson of Greensburg, Pa. and Michael, husband of Gwynne Feikma Patterson of Moundsville, W.Va.; maternal grandmother, Margaret Thomas Galloway of Waynesburg; maternal grandfather, Mike Galloway of Rogersville; several nieces and nephews.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a trust fund to be established for her daughter, Tonysha.
