Surrounded by her children at her home, Blanche F. Courtwright, 85, of Wind Ridge, Pa. went home to be with her Savior at 8:03 a.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2013.She was born April 21, 1928 in Aleppo Twp., Greene Co., Pa. a daughter of the late Samuel E. and Ruth Lohr Martin.Mrs. Courtwright was a former member of the Aleppo Brethren Church and had attended the former Rock Lick (W.Va.) Community Church.She was a 1946 graduate of the former Aleppo High School.Mrs. Courtwright was a faithful homemaker, wife and mother. She enjoyed her family and her grandchildren. She made many enjoyable memories playing cinch with her family. Blanche was a published author of poetry, magazine and newspaper articles. She displayed her love for others through freehand paintings and hand stitched dolls. Her commitment to her Savior was expressed in her unconditional love and her communication of His wisdom. On January 11, 1947 she married Roger Valentine Courtwright who died September 4, 1997.Surviving are eleven children: Wilbur (Gail) Courtwright, Millie (David) Lund, Hazel (Ralph) Koffler, Charlotte (Mark) McMillen, Dean (Bonnie) Courtwright, Freda and Fred Courtwright, Timothy (Karen) Courtwright, Wretha (Aaron) Rice, Jacob (Kimberly) Courtwright and Adam (Stacey) Courtwright; 29 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are a grandchild, Eric McMillen; two sisters, Wretha Marie Rucker and Betty Josephine Riggle; two brothers, Donald R. and Kenneth E.
