Betty Virginia Mccullough

Betty V. McCullough, 91, of Washington, Pa. died at 1:34 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015 in the Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg, Pa. following a lingering illness of the past several years.
She was born January 17, 1924 in Washington a daughter of the late John and Alice Mae Ashcraft Renner and had been a resident of Buffalo Twp. all her life..
Mrs. McCullough was a member of the East Buffalo Presbyterian Church.
She enjoyed visiting the Cameron Wellness Center and the former YWCA, both in Washington, and the time with her family, making candy and homemade ice cream.
One July 24, 1943 she married William Albert McCullough who died April 18, 2014.
Surviving are a daughter, Cheryll L. Post of Claysville; a son, William McCullough III, husband of Barbara McCullough of Washington; four grandchildren, Frank L. Post, Jr., husband of Kaylea Post, Tammi, wife of Darrin Iams, Robert, husband of Stacy McCullough and Tega, wife of Josh George; five great grandchildren, Kagin and Lexin Iams, Cason George, Bayleigh and Braeden McCullough; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McCullough was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are a son-in-law, Frank L. Post, Sr.; five sisters, Louise Ryder, Eva Renner, Sarah Boone, Mary Noble and Arlis Paterson; a brother, John Renner, Jr.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the East Buffalo Presbyterian Church where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 with Rev. Linda Mankey officiating. Interment will follow in the Claysville Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the East Buffalo Presbyterian Church, 180 East Buffalo Church Rd., Washington, Pa. 15301. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rush Funeral Home, Inc., Rogersville, Pa.
