Beatrice Stab

Beatrice Jane Stab, 91, formerly of Wheeling, W.Va. died at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, Pa. after being in failing health for the past few months.She was born November 3, 1919 in Wadestown, W.Va. a daughter of the late Edward F. and Jessie M. Watson Delaney and had resided in the Wheeling area for several years prior to moving to Waynesburg in 2010.Mrs. Stab attended Wadestown schools.She was last employed on the assembly line at the Marx Toy Factory in Wheeling for approximately 21 years prior to retiring in 1978.On February 11, 1950 she married Harry Waters who died in 1979 and on July 31, 1980 she married Paul Joseph Stab who died Oct. 10, 1992.Surviving is a brother, Johnny E. Delaney of Wadestown; four nieces, Dottie James of Clarksburg, W.Va., Vickie Cottrell of Mannington, W.Va., Candy Echard of Wadestown, W.Va. and Patty Jacobs of Waynesburg; a nephew, Bud Delaney of Wadestown; a brother in law, Hub Mason of Fairmont, W.Va.Deceased in addition to her parents and husbands are a sister, Gladise Ione Mason and a brother who died in infancy.At the request of the deceased all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
