Beatrice Roupe

Beatrice V. Roupe, 71, of Washington, Pa. died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2004 in the Humbert Lane Health Care Centre, Washington, Pa after a lengthy illness.She was born March 19, 1933 in Perry Township, Greene County, Pa. a daughter of John Newton and Edna Lucy Poland Kimble.Mrs. Roupe had been a resident of the Pittsburgh area for several years prior to moving to Washington in 1967.She was last employed as a private duty practical nurse for 12 years prior to her retirement.On June 6, 1949 she married Harvey Cervaine Roupe, Sr. who died December 23, 1968.Surviving are five daughters, Karen Bobes of Wheeling, W.Va., Linda Presto of Claysville, Sarah Saut of Beaver Falls, Sherry Aldofson of Eighty Four, Pa. and Patricia Yeager of Pittsburgh; one son, Harvey C. Roupe, Jr. of Washington; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 42 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.Deceased are six sisters, Marie Brown, Ethel Kiger, Sarah Beckus, Harriett Gilbert, Kathryn Henrich and Elva Crawford; three brothers, John "Bud" Kimble, Archie Kimble and Carl Kimble who died when he was 6 years of age.
