Barbara Darlene Robison

Barbara Darlene Robison, 60, of Holbrook, Pa. died at 9:40 p.m., Saturday, November 28, 2015 in her home after suffering with a cancer related illness for the past three years.
She was born July 1, 1955 in Cameron, W.Va. a daughter of the late William Lawrence Whipkey, Sr. and Ruth Ellen Dolly Courtwright Whipkey, and had resided in Richhill Twp. all her life.
Mrs. Robison was a 1974 graduate of West Greene High School and attended the former Waynesburg College.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and wood working, and was a former 4-H leader with the Greene County sheep breeders club
Mrs. Robison was formerly employed by the West Greene School District as a teachers aid and cafeteria worker, she also assisted with the Behm Auction service, served on the Board of Elections of Richhill Twp., and served as the secretary/treasurer of the Greene County Farm Bureau for the past several years, until recently resigning due to ill health.
On June 20, 1975 she married Ronald Wayne Robison who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Matthew Robison and Benji, husband of Amy Robison, both of Holbrook; three grandchildren, Abigail, Henry and Clara Robison; two sisters, Teresa, wife of Jeff Fox of Holbrook and Bobbie, wife of Shawn Grecoe of Lone Pine; two brothers, William L. Whipkey, Jr., husband of Donna Whipkey of Graysville and Charles Lee, husband of Katrina Whipkey of Holbrook; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc. Rogersville, Pa. where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 with Pastor Sam Crawford officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery, Jackson Twp. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Greene County 4-H Beef Breeding Club, c/o Kay Mooney, Greene County Extension Office.
