Arthur Foley

Arthur Eugene Foley, 74, of Fairview, W.Va., and formerly of Spraggs, Pa. and Blacksville, W.Va., died at 9:22 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 in the Life Care Hospital (Suburban General), Pittsburgh, Pa.He was born August 30, 1938 in Monongalia Co., W.Va. a son of the late George Dwight and Lottie Louemma Stewart Foley and had resided in Barberton, Ohio, Spraggs, Pa. and Blacksville, W.Va. prior to moving to Fairview in 1983.Mr. Foley was a 1957 graduate of Clay - Battelle High School.He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a specialist fourth class. Mr. Foley was last employed by the former Ohio Brass plant in Barberton, Ohio prior to retiring in 1978 due to ill health.He enjoyed woodworking and the companionship of his neighbors dog.Surviving are one brother, George, husband of Janice Foley of Fairview, W.Va.; one sister, Anna Mae, wife of George W. Willard of Cassville, W.Va.; one half brother, Robert, husband of Genevieve (Ginny) Wilson of Buckeye Lake, Oh.; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to his parents is a son, Jeffrey Eugene Foley.At the request of the family there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
