Arnold Miller

Arnold Ray Miller, 52, of Center Twp. (Hargus Creek), Greene Co. Pa. died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 5:00 a.m. in his home after suffering with a cancer related illness since June.He was born September 11, 1958 in Waynesburg, Pa. a son of Mary Marie Lyons Miller Fojtik of Galveston, Texas and the late Eugene Ross Miller, Sr.Mr. Miller had resided in Graysville, Pa. for 10 years prior to moving to Center Twp. this past July.He was a former employee of Michael's Pipeline Co. in Maine and was last employed as a laborer with Consol Energy in West Finley.Mr. Miller enjoyed hunting, nature walking in the woods and auto repair as long as his health permitted.On February 12, 1983 he married Beryl Genevieve Johnson who survives.Also surviving in addition to his wife and mother are five sons, James Lee, husband of Tammi Johnson of Holbrook, Ray, husband of Melissa Horner of New Freeport, Gary, husband of Melissa Miller of Wind Ridge, Daniel and Justin Miller both at home; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene R. Miller, Jr. husband of Charla Miller and Marvin Miller both of Waynesburg; one half sister, Tammy, wife of Ed Gump of Aleppo Twp.; two half brothers, Joseph, husband of Amy Miller of Mt. Morris and Robert, husband of LaChrista Miller of Oak Forest; one step brother, Doug, husband of Jane Phillips of New Freeport; several nieces and nephews.Deceased in addition to his father is a sister who died at birth.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.
