Andrew Gibson

Andrew Angus Gibson, 43, of Rogersville, Pa. and formerly of New Freeport, died unexpectedly at 2:13 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2010 in Waynesburg, Pa.He was born September 13, 1966 in Torrance, CA. a son of Myra Joye Hildreth Gibson of Rogersville and the late Richard Alton Gibson, Jr.Mr. Gibson was a 1985 graduate of West Greene High School and was attending Waynesburg University at the time of his death.He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping and collecting fish for salt and fresh water aquariums, enjoyed listening to classical and rock music.Mr. Gibson was a member of the Mt. Morris (Pa.) Sportsman's Club and was a former Boy Scout.He was last employed as a lab technician with N.U.S. in Pittsburgh for approximately five years.Surviving in addition to his mother is a brother, Richard Alton Gibson, III, companion of Kristin Jones of New Freeport; several aunts, uncles and cousins.Friends will be received from 2 until 5 p.m, the time of services, Monday, May 17, 2010 in the Rush Funeral Home, Inc.
