Albert Temple

Albert D. Temple, 72, of Graysville, Pa. died at 9:25 a.m. Saturday, December 25, 2010 in his home after being in failing health for the past year.He was born August 28, 1938 in Wayne Twp. (Spraggs), Greene Co. Pa. a son of the late David Lindsey and Nettie Kathryn Johnson Temple.Mr. Temple had resided in the Spraggs and Holbrook areas for several years prior to moving to Graysville in 1991.He was a member of the D.A.V. Post 123 in Waynesburg and enjoyed target practicing with a bow.Mr. Temple was a peacetime veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served as an E-3 aboard the USS Ticonderoga.On September 23, 1963 he married Alma Loraine Tennant who survives.Also surviving are a son, Kevin, husband of Lisa Temple of Carmichaels; two daughters, Tammy, wife of Michael Gill of Washington and Jody Temple at home; two sisters, Shirley Tennant of Waynesburg and Jean, wife of Leo Harris of Pearcy, Ark.; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren.Deceased in addition to his parents are a son, Douglas Temple; a sister, Dorothy Brummage; a brother, Robert Temple.At the request of the family all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
