Ruth Anna Blake

Ruth Anna Blake, age 68, of Cameron, WV., (formerly of Greene Co.) passed away at home Friday, July 6, 2018 with her loving family by her side.

Born September 14, 1949, in Clarksburg, WV., she is the daughter of the late Robert Leo and Pauline Olive (Dean) McGlumphy.

Ruth was a 1967 graduate of Cameron High School. She lived in Ninevah, PA., for 20 years upon returning to her family home in 2003. She was a member of Solid Rock Assembly of God in Moundsville, WV. Ruth was employed by Rolling Meadows Nursing Home as a certified nurse’s aide for 30 years until her retirement in 2015. On April 25, 1969 she married Donald Eugene Blake, who survives. They were happily married for 49 years. Ruth enjoyed Reading the bible, collecting angels, birdwatching, walking in the snow and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Donald E. Blake, Jr., of Cameron, WV., Jeffrey Allen (Dusty) Blake, of Waynesburg, PA., Scott Ray Blake, of Cameron, WV., Kimberly Michele Trout, of Center Twp., PA. and James Aaron (Jodie) Blake, of Needmore, PA.; sixteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Sandra (Van) Flesher, of Mingo Junction, OH.; two brothers, Larry (Patty) McGlumphy, of Birchwood, WI and John McGlumphy, of Cameron, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, one granddaughter, Elizabeth Ruth Blake and one great-grandson, Levi Cole Blake.
